ChangeScreenSize w1 h1 w2 h2
The ChangeScreenSize program can set or toggle the screen size of the current Windows desktop. The program is available for Windows platforms only.
When running Windows inside a virtual machine (VM) the virtual
machine viewer is seen as "the monitor" by the Windows guest.
The virtual machine viewer (i.e. virt-viewer or virt-manager on Linux systems) can run in full screen mode or as a normal window.
When toggling between full screen mode and normal window you might want to toggle the Windows monitor resultion in the guest as well.
The ChangeScreenSize program allows to do so without having to go through system control.
You might want to create a desktop shortcut in the Windows guest. The shortcut should specify the ChangeScreenSize program to execute and four integer arguments:
The program exits automatically after changing the screen size successfully. On error the program shows an error dialog and does not exit automatically.
A typical command to run ChangeScreenSize looks like:
"C:\Program Files\Krause\bin\ChangeScreenSize.exe" 1920 1080 1280 800
